About
I’m a .NET C# developer with a curious mind and a passion for crafting elegant solutions. My journey in technology began at Furtwangen University, where I earned my computer science degree – though that feels like a lifetime ago now. The past two decades have taught me far more than I could have learned in any classroom, bringing both technical wisdom and valuable life lessons.
My work follows me wherever I go, or perhaps it’s the other way around. As a digital nomad, I’ve discovered that good code can be written from anywhere with an internet connection. What truly inspires my work is the intersection of technology and thoughtful design. I’m drawn to minimalist aesthetics, influenced by the principles of Dieter Rams and the Bauhaus movement, and I admire how these philosophies shaped innovative companies like Apple.
When I’m not crafting software, you’ll find me seeking out quiet spaces in nature. There’s something about a long hike through the woods or a peaceful walk along a mountain trail that brings clarity to both mind and code. These experiences have shaped my perspective on life, and naturally, they influence my work too. I share my thoughts through my newsletter Letters from Somewhere and here on this blog.
