Most of the path leads through the forest, over ground covered with dense foliage. Only as we approach the ridge is the path littered with rocks, some of which are sharp.

As we ascend, but especially as we descend, it becomes a little challenging, as the rocks are larger and more pointed, slippery from the rain and therefore more treacherous.

Most of the time, however, it leads through a beautiful, lush green landscape. Past babbling brooks and grazing horses. It’s a short walk that refreshes me on a day covered in gray clouds.
